Job Overview

JNGLI is seeking a Fashion Business Intern to join our team for a summer internship. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fashion industry, while working on various projects related to industry research, marketing, communications, and event coordination.

General Qualifications

Proficient in Google suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets).
Ability to take direction, but work independently on project completion.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recent graduate from an accredited University.
Strong interest and/or experience in fashion, marketing, and brand development.

Skills

Fashion Industry Awareness: Interest in the fashion industry, including knowledge of current trends, brands, influencers, and key events such as fashion weeks.
Strong Research Abilities: Proficient in conducting thorough market research and trend analysis to identify industry insights, consumer behaviors, and competitor strategies.
Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing data, interpreting findings, and generating actionable insights to inform business decisions and optimize strategies.
Attention to Detail: Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in tasks such as policy analysis, vendor sourcing, and content creation to maintain quality standards.
Crisp Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft professional emails, compile articulate slide decks, and contribute to concise reports.
Work Ethic & Professionalism: Displays professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic in all aspects of the internship, including adherence to deadlines and commitment to learning and development.

Additional Information

Hours - Part-time internship for 5 to 8 hours per week.
Timeframe - The internship will run from late May to early September.
Location - Role is remote. Los Angeles preferred, but all locations will be considered.
Compensation - This is a paid part-time internship.
