Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee the implementation and management of a proprietary Program Management process, specifically designed for the intake of AI use cases within eBay. This role will be pivotal in managing the intake, review, and approval process of AI initiatives across various departments, ensuring alignment with our company's standards for responsible AI, security, and data governance. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and refining processes, particularly within the ServiceNow platform, and possess strong leadership skills to keep stakeholders informed and address any escalations promptly. Responsibilities: • Oversee the end-to-end management of the AI use case program , ensuring seamless integration with our proprietary Program Management process.
• Lead the intake process for AI use cases across the company , coordinating with researchers and relevant groups such as Responsible AI, Security, Data Governance, and Capacity Planning teams.
• Conduct thorough reviews of proposed AI use cases, ensuring they meet our internal criteria and standards before granting approval. • Facilitate the build-out and continuous enhancement of the new process within the ServiceNow platform , ensuring it remains efficient, user-friendly, and effective in meeting organizational needs. • Develop and maintain a transparent communication strategy to keep leadership teams regularly informed about the status, progress, and outcomes of AI use cases. • Act as the primary point of contact for escalations , working diligently to resolve any issues and expedite approvals when necessary.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that drive efficiency and effectiveness. • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the program management process. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the program management team. Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Program Manager or similar role, with a strong background in managing technology or AI-related projects. • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar enterprise service management platforms. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. • Experience in process design and improvement, with a track record of implementing successful changes. • Knowledge of AI applications, responsible AI practices, and data governance principles is highly desirable. • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
