Our client, a large telecom company seeks a Part-Time Digital Content Producer to work closely with the Social Media and Content Marketing teams in a video-first content production capacity. This is a 100% remote/telecommuting position, working 20-25 hrs. p/week - nights/weekends, OK) . Applicants who reside in the DMV, NYC Metro areas are encouraged to apply.
Digital Content Producer Responsibilities:
- Work w/ Social Media and Content Marketing teams on content planning, editing and execution of video-first digital content.
- Prepare Social Media-first copy and engagement-first creatives to specification of applicable channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and/or web).
- Create and/or version motion graphics across a variety of aspect ratios and distribution channelspecs (Social Media, Web and Email).
- Create and edit videos/animations aligned with the Digital Marketing initiatives and established brand calendar. Implement brand templates, as applicable.
- Participate in dynamic content planning sessions and bring forward original ideas, trends and/or current best practices.
- Support Social Media and Content Marketing special projects, as assigned.
Digital Content Producer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required, with Major in Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing, or Computer Sciences preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 yrs video editing within business/brand context preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience as a writer – journalism, web and/or Social Media writer, communications/PR.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in preparing copy and visual content for the web and/or social media.
- Experience in Adobe CC, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent digital media/video editing tools.
- Direct experience using project management tools (Wrike, Asana, Basecamp or comparable)
- Highly detail oriented with the ability to independently time manage for multiple work streams.
- Experience in interpreting and following established brand
