Title: Project Manager (PMP)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive project plans covering Charter, Scope, Schedule, Cost, Quality, Communication, Change, Risk, Issue, and Resource management plans.
- Managing project plans throughout the project management lifecycle, from initiation through closeout.
- Utilizing project tracking tools like Microsoft Project to develop and manage formal project schedules, tracking progress, and variances against baselines using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Updating project schedules through standard PM techniques and presenting schedule/status updates to both ITS and client agency leaderships.
- Developing, writing, and managing detailed Scope Documents, reviewing project deliverables, and managing the deliverables acceptance process.
- Using the project scope and deliverable management process to manage the project change request process.
- Overseeing project quality planning, quality assurance, end-to-end system testing, quality control, user acceptance testing (UAT) defect and metrics management, and quality governance.
- Managing COTS software implementation projects and/or in-house application development (SDLC) projects.
Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP) certification.
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification.
