About the role:
We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team at VitaminLab. In this role, you will oversee projects from WordPress development to Partnership launches. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of initiatives across various departments within our organization working closely with multiple stakeholders ensuring alignment with objectives and successful execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- WordPress Development Management: Lead and manage projects involving WordPress development, working closely with our development team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Create and manage biweekly sprints for our WordPress developers, facilitating efficient progress tracking and task management.
- QA and Ticket Management: Conduct quality assurance (QA) on features and updates, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications. Communicate with stakeholders on team QA testing results. Manage ticket backlog, ensuring timely resolution of issues and follow-up with stakeholders on incomplete or updated tickets and requests. Ensure urgent tickets are quickly assigned and updated as needed.
- Feature Release Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders on feature release testing, communication, and marketing efforts. Collaborate with teams to clarify feature and update requirements, ensuring alignment with our roadmap and developers' understanding.
- Roadmap Management: Manage roadmap updates and communication around potential delays or changes related to developer resources. Keep stakeholders informed and aligned on project timelines and priorities.
- Partnership Launch Management: Take charge of partnership launches with the Revenue team, from setting up project boards to managing launch-related partner communication, ticket management, and QA processes. Ensure a successful launch by coordinating all aspects of the launch process and aligning efforts with project objectives.
- Packaging Update Collaboration: Work closely with the product team and stakeholders on packaging updates and requirements for specific projects. Ensure alignment with brand standards, regulatory guidelines, and project objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, updates, and escalations. Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project success and foster a positive working environment.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of project management or project administration experience.
- Project management experience in healthcare is beneficial.
- Project Management certification preferred, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
- Experience in customer or partner-facing roles.
- Startup or scaleup experience ideal.
- Experience working with WordPress developers is preferred.
- You're a quick learner who thrives in new and unfamiliar situations.
- You enjoy keeping things organized and keeping team members on top of project tasks.
- You're highly collaborative and keen to understand the team & company's needs and goals to ensure we're making the best decisions for everyone involved.
- You can handle challenging situations with positivity, tact and logic, to resolve situations quickly and move things forward.
- If things aren't working efficiently you look for ways to improve them and you're comfortable communicating when something's not quite working.
- Experience with Basecamp and proficiency in Google Workspace tools preferred.
- If you have WordPress development experience that would be a bonus!

The typical salary range for this position is between $70,000-$90,000 CDN. The role requires you to be in office a minimum of 2-3 days per week.
