As a driven founder with a portfolio of five successful companies, I am seeking a highly motivated and versatile Personal Assistant and General Manager to play a dual role in both supporting my personal and professional endeavors and in leading our newest e-commerce venture.
Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will split your time between assisting me directly (40%) and managing our ecommerce operations (60%). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is keen to take on a variety of tasks ranging from administrative support to strategic business management.
Responsibilities:
- Personal Assistant Duties (40%):
- Manage and coordinate daily schedules, including meetings, appointments, and travel.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Assist with personal tasks and errands as needed to streamline daily activities.
- General Manager Duties (60%):
- Oversee the setup, launch, and day-to-day management of the ecommerce platform.
- Implement and monitor online sales strategies to ensure business goals are met.
- Liaise with product suppliers and manage inventory levels.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a small team to drive the company’s growth.
- Prepare reports and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a strong understanding of Shopify and Amazon platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work in-person in West Los Angeles and Santa Monica four or five days a week.
- Discretion and trustworthiness, with an ability to handle confidential information.
