The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented upbeat team player who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the office, greeting them in a polite and well-spoken manner. This position will also be responsible for daily content creation for our social media channels.
You will also be assigned duties as required (i.e. organization of inbound and outbound mail, administrative work, and general clerical support). This position is in person at our Vernon, CA headquarters. This is a temporary position for 4 months with the opportunity to become permanent.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment for guests and employees when they arrive at the office.
- Assist with planning and coordinating company events.
- Create fun content for our Pistola Brand, content for TikTok, Reels & Instagram.
- Partner with the Marketing department on what content needs to be created.
- Work with the executive & operations teams to create a positive work environment.
- Maintain lobby security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (Monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Direct visitors and calls to the appropriate person and departments.
- Update calendars and manage the scheduling of conference rooms.
- Assist with administrative and data entry tasks as needed.
- Order front office supplies and keep an inventory of stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Previous related work experience in content creation and office assistance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Detail oriented
- Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Bilingual strongly preferred
