Opportunity Overview
NORA is seeking a strong Analyst to support the IT/Finance/Analytics Department. The Analyst position is a high-profile position that will perform advanced analytics and reporting for senior executives, Board of Directors, and Bank Lenders. Data management for required financial reporting packages for these groups will also be a primary responsibility of this position.
The Analyst will play a key role in executing NORA’s growth strategy by (i) preparing and maintaining financial models, various financial analyses and reports to assist leadership in making data-driven informed decisions, (ii) assisting in the execution of various strategic alternatives including potential organic growth projects, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, etc., and (iii) providing research and analytical support to NORA and their associated markets.
Additionally, the position will be responsible for producing executive operational KPI reports and working closely with the operations team to educate and communicate financial data and reports. The position will also perform acquisition due diligence and quality of earnings assessments as needed.
Compensation is competitive, consisting of a base salary and a performance bonus.
Job Description
Title: Analyst

Responsibilities
· Develop internal materials for senior leadership and the board that evaluate historical and projected business trends, capital market trends, the financial impact and rationale for potential strategic alternatives, and other information as requested
· Maintain and develop detailed financial projection models and analysis for large projects and initiatives, including acquisition activities
· Perform acquisition due diligence and quality of earnings assessments, as needed
· Produce weekly and monthly operational KPI reports for the executive team
· Access and compile raw data to identify and document trends and provide explanation and understanding of performance
· Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes
· Perform other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested
· Responsible for data management needed to produce consolidated financial statements included in reporting to the Board of Directors, Private Equity Sponsors and bank lenders
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· A solid understanding of finance and generally accepted accounting procedures required
· Prior financial analysis experience supporting private equity sponsors preferred
· Must have demonstrable advanced level Excel skills, including developing financial projection models and working with large data sets
· Experience with Tableau, PowerBI or other BI software.
· Experience using SQL or Python is a plus
· Strong attention to detail required
· All prospective employees must pass a background and drug check.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis
· 3-5 years of financial analysis experience preferred
· Bachelor’s (required), MBA (preferred)
