Job Description:
The preferred candidate will work with the MDE Project Management team to create roles, manage users, manage repositories, create workflows, and generate dashboards and reports for Azure DevOps. Primary work will be in support of, but not limited to, the MSIS 2.0 project.
This position requires an Agile Process Tool Manager to assist and/or lead in the following tasks:
- Work with the Project Management team to create projects using the agile method in Azure DevOps
- Manage roles and permissions for individuals to have the appropriate rights within Azure DevOps
- Create workflows for things such as approval or notification when tasks change status
- Work with the dev-ops engineer to integrate automated processes into workflows.
- Create dashboards for team members to quickly identify status and metrics of a project.
- Customize Azure DevOps work item templates (Scrum and Kanban boards) to meet project needs.
- Generate reports for upper management to identify risk of projects, resource utilization, etc
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience managing tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira - 5 Years
- Experience working agile processes - 5 Years
- Must have a strong work ethic with good time management skills - 5 Years
- Microsoft SQL/PLSQL - 5 Years
- Knowledge of PowerBI - 5 Years
- WIQL Editor (Queries option for viewing work items) - 5 Years
- Analytics Extention by MicroSoft (Sprint and their history) - 5 Years
- Worked with Restful API - 5 Years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive interfacing with customers
- Managing pipelines as well as providing build and test reports
Preferred/Desired Skills:
- Experience in education data systems and environments is a plus
