What you’ll be doing
- Assist in the day-to-day AR and AP processes, including: reviewing vendor bills, payment preparation, vendor documentation, account reconciliations, collections, and internal communications with other business functions.
- Support timely month-end and year-end closing processes, including transaction coding
- Ensure collection, reconciliation, and accounting of all receipts related to company credit card transactions
- Assist in organization and documentation of critical corporate information and communications
- Review contracts to extract necessary data and generate client invoices.

Requirements
- Experienced: 1-3 years of accounting experience. Are you experienced in sales tax and/or marketplaces? Even better!
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting processes
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
- Highly proficient in Excel functions and GSuite (Google Docs)
- Must have strong analytical skills; the ability to find and utilize available resources to resolve problems
- Detail-oriented and highly organized: excellent attention to detail, financial accuracy, and strong customer service toward colleagues, vendors, and other constituents.
- Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up and follow-through with requests from all levels, including escalations.
