Soaringwords is an exciting, growing non-profit organization, whose mission is to inspire individuals to take active roles in self-healing in order to experience greater physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Soaringwords seeks a self-starter, adept at project management, logistics, and organization. In this role, you will manage multiple projects working closely with CEO & Founder, while interfacing with Soaringwords’ team-members and clients. Since 2000, Soaringwords’ interventions have been shared with more than 500,000 individuals in communities experiencing health inequity or serious illness. We are proud to have partnered with 196 hospitals around the world, long-term care facilities, and health and human service agencies throughout North America. In 2020, Soaringwords provided the content for the launch of the World Economic Forum’s Healthy Cities initiative working with the Jersey City Department of Health & Human Services. Soaringwords workshops, research, and healing initiatives have been presented at 18 scientific conferences. Soaringwords has led programs for 150,000 employees at Fortune 50 companies including Accenture, Cigna, Cisco, Deloitte, Google, Johnson & Johnson, JPMorgan Chase, Lilly, Meta, New York Life, Sony, Verizon, and Viacom.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Strong technology skills (fluency with Mac, Google Drive, Canva, DropBox, Salesforce, Zoom, and Microsoft Office including Excel; comfortable with troubleshooting issues).
Strong organizational skills/experience managing professional workflow from multiple sources; ability to manage several high-priority projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail to ensure flawless correspondence and timely execution of projects.
Professional interpersonal communication skills with Soaringwords’ team of interns (College and Graduate students focusing on Psychology, Social Work and Public Health.) Ability to represent Soaringwords in interactions with community partners, existing and prospective corporate and foundation funders, and board members.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to manage monthly financial billing and records.
Strong social media skills.
Self-starter and finisher; able to solve problems independently and also work well in a team.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage internal daily logistics of running the company to free the CEO to focus on strategic responsibilities.
Interact with many different constituencies (non-profit community partners, media professionals for press coverage, and social media influencers) to extend CEO’s reach; represent the CEO as the face of Soaringwords.
Participate in important meetings and responsible for managing followup.
Organize and structure project tasks to meet deadlines.
Manage, organize, and update Google Drive and SalesForce database.
Manage a robust meeting calendar with partners, fellows, board members, and others.
Manage project calendars for multiple projects in Social Media, Grants, Content Creation, Production, and Empirical Research teams.
Manage monthly financial billings and records.
Gather and organize weekly feedback forms from Soaringwords Fellows and interns.
Work closely with the CEO to liaise with team members and Soaringwords Fellows.
