Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile certification is required.
Experience: 5+ years of project/program management experience.
Preferred experience will include: Tracking and planning projects using Waterfall/Agile/Hybrid framework; 5+ years of experience working with diverse Project Teams including Strategic and Business Development, QA, UAT, and 3rd Party System Integrator participants within a cross-functional matrix environment.
Position Requirements and Critical Action Items:
1. Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives/projects that span multiple lines of business with diverse needs and teams.
2. Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
3. Ability to identify best methodologies for a project (Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid) with the ability to manage within those guidelines.
4. Establish and maintain productive relationships with third parties/vendors and positive working relationships with Affiliate and Business counterparts.
5. Create and deliver project/program level documentation – ensure documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
6. Successfully manage the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
7. Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
8. Present project updates, project lifecycle, and expected results to stakeholders.
9. Manage project scope and changes, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and required change logs applied to all changes.
10. Act as an internal quality control check for the project.
11. Conduct Post-Mortems, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives creating Lessons Learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
12. Seek feedback regularly to ensure processes and procedures are well understood and/or updated appropriately.
Requirements:
1. Ability to thrive in a rapid-response industry, supporting multiple clients with differing business needs.
2. Experience with PM tools such as monday.com, Smartsheet, Project, Visio, Whiteboard, MS Teams, MS 365, etc.
3. Ability to both Lead and be a Team Member and knowing when to apply which skill.
4. Stakeholder and IT (Information Technology) Change Management experience and Risk Management experience preferred.
5. Ability to manage and/or change customer expectations while keeping them motivated and involved.
