About the position
We are on the lookout for fresh and innovative minds to join our Thermodynamics division in the role of a Researcher. We are searching for a driven engineer with an interest in the sustainable energy industry and solar energy systems. This role requires a high capacity for analysis and creative problem-solving to contribute to groundbreaking research, analyzing and interpreting data from cutting-edge solar energy modeling and simulations.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret data from solar energy experiments and simulations.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to design new energy systems.
- Solar farm simulation and modelling to create digital twins and control tools.
- Artificial Intelligence-based forecasting maintenance from predictive to preventive methods.
- Data analysis to determine performance of solar and thermal components.
- Cloud Deployment: Efficiently managed large-scale data for real-time analysis.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in energy research.
- Engage with partners and stakeholders across Europe to advance project goals.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
- High proficiency in English, covering comprehension, conversation, and writing (minimum B2 level).
- Work independently and proactively to achieve research objectives.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary groups and juggle multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills with the aptitude to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
