Title: Project Manager (PMP Certified)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications.
Key Requirements
- Active PMP certification through PMI
- 5+ years of experience in project management
- Proficiency in developing and managing formal project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project
- Experience in tracking progress and variances against baselines using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies
- Familiarity with standard PM techniques such as scrum sessions
- Ability to present schedule/status updates to both ITS and client agency leadership
- Experience in managing COTS software implementation projects and/or in-house application development projects
- Strong skills in developing, writing, and managing detailed Scope Documents
- Ability to review project deliverables and manage the deliverables acceptance process
- Experience in managing project change request processes
- Proficiency in project quality planning, assurance, testing, and governance
- Previous involvement in managing and leading IT projects for US Government agencies
- Excellent communication skills for project status reporting to stakeholders, executives, management, and project resource teams
