Job Qualifications
Four years of experience in the administration of server databases and subsystems;
Or
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the administration of server databases and subsystems.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements
- SQL Server experience.
- SQL Server Reporting Service experience.
- SQL Server database creation experience.
- SQL Server backup and restore experience.
- Entry level knowledge of database administration duties.
- Detail oriented with the ability to research and analyze problems.
Salary Minimum
$60,857.00
Major Duties
Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements, and maintains databases. Ensures data integrity by implementing and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions. Provides database modeling, design and documentation.
Creates and maintains database objects and manages database security. Backs up, reorganizes and recovers databases; rebuilds indexes.
Monitors and improves database efficiency through performance tuning. Troubleshoots database-related problems. Provides management reports on IT database management process.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Challenges
24x7 work environment supporting Exchange operations, which requires either shift work, on call, and/or after hours project work and may include holidays, and weekends
IT position - there may be some TDY associated with this IT work
