Lagasse Branch Bell + Kinkead LLP is seeking an Office Administrator to manage the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the firm’s three offices (San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco), reporting directly to the Managing Partner and CFO/COO.

Responsibilities
- This position will manage the office’s administrative support services, which include legal secretaries, paralegals, administrative assistants, interns, reception, and office services
- The Office Administrator is responsible for human resources, library and information resources, facilities, purchasing, and budgeting across all offices
- Human resources responsibilities include hiring legal and support staff, onboarding, training, performance appraisals, conflict resolution, compensation, and recordkeeping
- Plan and coordinate events, such as CLE programs, summer events, holiday events, special events and office activities
- In-office presence to actively manage staff and respond to office needs
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Experience: At least 5 years of law office management experience that includes successful experience managing employees and multiple projects at one time
- A successful candidate will have a working knowledge of labor and employment laws and HR best practices
- Demonstrated financial and business sense coupled with a knowledge of human resources principles and an understanding of information systems within a professional services environment
