Graphic Designer
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
JOB SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer at PatientX will be passionate about brand building and creating compelling designs that solve clients’ needs, exceed customer’s intrigue, and improve the patient experience. This full-time, exempt position is responsible for all graphic design elements related to print and digital materials. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into images, layouts, and other designs, in addition to performing graphic production-level work. This person should understand how marketing campaigns work, especially in the healthcare industry. This is a fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES:
- Industry research and staying updated on the latest design trends, tools, and best practices for healthcare.
- Plan and concept original logos, brand elements, and designs.
- Create and design various print and digital collateral such as websites, social media, social ads, brochures, presentations, etc.
- Complete production-level graphic design edits and changes.
- Presenting and pitching design solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Complete projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
- Work with team members, including Marketing Managers, writers, programmers, etc. to ensure PatientX and client brands are maintained in all designs.
- Follow best practices and brand standards to vary your design style and optimize creativity for each marketing channel.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications, budget restrictions, and proper workflow and timelines.
- Perform retouching and manipulation of images.
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.
- Maintain brand consistency throughout all clients and projects.
- Supervise other designers as needed.
- Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Work with the team on design estimates as needed.
- Solve design problems with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field required.
- 3-5 years professional experience in design is required.
- You must showcase your ability to conceptualize, design, and produce professional graphic materials, including print and digital materials.
- Ability to interpret a client’s needs to determine the project's scope, advise strategies to reach a particular audience, message the design should portray, etc.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all internal and external contacts.
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of current industry-standard graphic arts technology, including, but not limited to, the following: proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and Figma.
- Knowledge of inbound marketing using HubSpot, High Level, or other CRMs preferred.
- Possession of good oral and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, business partners, and clients.
- Extreme accuracy in all communications and presentations, proof all materials, and appropriate approval of all materials before sending to print.

It is vital that direction is taken enthusiastically, but resourcefulness in finding solutions must be apparent. This person must be able to think on their feet, ask good questions, and contribute as requested. REQUIRED COMMUNICATION/MATHEMATICAL/REASONING SKILLS:
- Must possess the required level of skills and abilities to read, write, speak, and apply mathematical concepts and sound reasoning to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job
- Must be able to perform advanced operations on a computer within the Windows operating system and Adobe design products
- This position requires problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to multi-task

- This could be a hybrid position. Client meetings will be performed in person, via zoom or other electronic means, phone, and or email.
