As a Client Services Manager, you support internal teams and manage project logistics to deliver successful outcomes. You manage project coordination across 2-3 small to medium-sized projects with a Client Services Lead who will be accountable for the overall client relationship.
We expect you to be a project management pro—keeping details well-organized, communications clear, and tasks completed accurately and in a timely manner. You’re eager to learn and collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Project Management
- Manages daily project tasks with accuracy from briefing to delivery and is attuned to granular project details (e.g. budgets, timelines, scheduling)
- Has a strong understanding of research coordination tasks and methodologies, and can work with external vendors to set it up
- Proactively identifies project next steps, opportunities, and roadblocks
- Has a strong understanding of key project management templates, tools, and processes (e.g. scopes of work, pricing tool, budget tracking)
- Ensures all project management systems are up to date
- Flags and communicates project resourcing requirements each week
- Embraces client feedback and is a positive voice within the team
- Provides support to CS Lead on pillar accounts
Client Relationship Building & Growth
- Has an understanding of client engagement goals and tactics
- Actively seeks out relationships with manager-level clients
Contract Management & Risk Mitigation
- Drafts legal agreements utilizing our templates, with oversight from CS Lead
- Manages budget and spend across a project, and updates Leadership on it frequently
- Anticipates financial issues and shapes solutions together with their CS Lead, flagging to Leadership as needed
- Shadows CS Lead in financial conversations with clients and procurement
Business Development
- Has an understanding of organic growth and raises opportunities to CS Lead on their projects
- Assists in the development of project plans and accurate pricings
Critical Thinking
- Is able to build a narrative from a pool of collected inputs
- Asks thoughtful questions in internal meetings
- Contributes meaningfully in team and 1:1 discussions

- Contributes to internal initiatives that support RS culture
- Supports cross-functional projects and teams

Communication & Presentation
- Speaks confidently to our processes, tasks, and project plans with internal teams and vendors
- Clear and effective in written and verbal communications
- Tailors communications to the right altitude and appropriate audience
- Proactively flags concerns to project teams and escalates issues to managers/team leads
- Communicates progress on tasks in a timely manner
