A Leading Healthcare Digital marketing company for over 10,000 small and medium sized, health and wellness businesses across the United States is seeking a Director of Sales.
The Director of Sales is responsible for the leadership, development and sales performance of the Account Management team, who work closely with current customers to expand their digital marketing strategies to grow their business. Client consultations are scheduled through a mix of outbound and inbound efforts and performed over video. Reporting to the SVP of Sales, this role requires a leader with proven B2B sales, account management and digital marketing sales experience. This role works closely with organizational leadership and requires a high degree of initiative, sound judgment, and leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead a team of Account Development Consultants responsible for conducting annual business reviews with every client, detailing the value they receive from existing services, and introducing new products and services.
- Meet and exceed individual & team monthly/annual sales targets, generate revenue and contribute to total business KPI’s.
- Oversee and manage large sales pipelines, to ensure deals close in a timely manner.
- Get into the weeds by listening in on calls and providing constructive feedback to develop sales skills and guide team members to achieve their own individual objectives.
- Responsible for staffing levels and ensuring agents successfully pass the company's training program.
- Oversee employee evaluation, development and performance management processes.
- Deliver demonstrations of the company's solutions to prospective clients, when necessary.
- Be an advocate for the company and its value proposition in our target markets.
- Provide feedback to improve performance on Inbound marketing campaigns.
- Facilitate cross-functional partnerships between sales, support and customer success to deliver on each client marketing goals and business objectives, to reduce cancellations.
- Be focused on customer satisfaction, by ensuring agents resolve customer issues in a timely manner and escalate issues in real-time to reduce overall client churn.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and workshops between teams.
- Actively participate in continuous self-improvement, while encouraging others to do the same, in order to enhance skills and support the continual evolution of the companies sales processes and methodology.
- Contribute to end-to-end People & Culture management, including the implementation of; attraction and selection, training and development, engagement and retention, reward and recognition and management of individual and team performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years of B2B SaaS or Digital Marketing sales experience, selling to small businesses.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of sales management experience overseeing a team of Account Executives and/or Account Managers.
- Must be able to articulate success in hiring, managing and motivating a sales team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with performance-based advertising products, including PPC and SEO a plus.
- Experience working within Healthcare or Digital Marketing is a plus.
- Successful track record in sales-driven environments and superior leadership skills.
- Demonstrated experience forecasting revenue.
- This position is Hybrid and requires in office for approx one week per month. You must reside within San Diego county.
- Must have Hi-Speed Internet at home.

COMPENSATIONS:
- $85,000-$90,000 base range, average total comp with commission is approx $150,000 annually.
- Commissions are paid monthly.
