Our company is dedicated to guiding traditional founders in building extraordinary businesses through financial recommendations. We are creating a business intelligence platform that leverages AI to help non-finance business operators make decisions like a seasoned CFO. Role Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team and work with our founding team to help with project management, customer discovery, and business development. This position, based in Chicago, offers a hybrid work environment and is perfect for someone looking to wear multiple hats and gain cross-functional experience. The role involves working closely with our founding and technical team to help track progress, determine our roadmap, and find prospects for further customer discovery. In this role, the ideal candidate will help consolidate ideas into actionable timelines as well as lead efforts to help define our target market. The individual will be responsible for coordinating all outbound customer discovery.
This job requires physical presence or ability to commute to Chicago 3 day / week. If you are not open to relocating to Chicago, please do not apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the technical team to design and report on project progress and timelines
- Design templates and copy write for outreach to potential customers to assist with customer discovery
- Analyze customer conversations to help with determining the proper target market and product market fit
- Coordination across work streams to help maintain shared vision and consistency across the company
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Business Development, Outbound Sales, Marketing or Project Management a plus
- Strong interest in startups, customer discovery, and AI-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to get out of their comfort zone and be rejected.
Required Skill / Experience:
- Candidate must have experience working with US based companies, preferably SMBs
Role Type
- At this time, we are seeking a 3 month contractor with the opportunity to convert to full time following the contract period. Currently, we are not comfortable hiring someone that will be relocating to Chicago as this role is at a startup and we cannot guarantee employment past the 3 month period.
