1dea Design + Media Inc. (pronounced “one idea”) is a Kingston, ON based marketing, website and creative agency specializing in visual brand identities, conversion-driven websites and custom graphic design. For the past 18 years, we’ve supported a variety of clients in industries such as government, tourism, health-care, associations, not-for-profit, B2B, some B2C and education. With our primary office in Kingston, and remote offices in Ottawa and Toronto, we’re seeking an exceptionally-detailed, strategic and well organized Project Manager to be a key part of our team.
Supported by a highly collaborative team of senior-level graphic designers, front/backend developers, a Creative Director, Strategic Director and copywriting, you will be responsible to liaison closely with our clients and team to create websites, brands, campaigns, and marketing/communication materials. Your role will be one of a relationship-builder, planner and QA specialist. We are also seeking someone who will help us to continue to grow our WordPress website support services, including monitoring ticket communication between our development team and clients, and pushing service standards.

Skills & Experience
- A degree or diploma in Marketing, Project Management, or related disciplines
- 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience
- Professional knowledge of WordPress website builds. No coding or development required.
- Experience with digital ad management is highly beneficial (ie. PPC campaigns via Google and Facebook Ads)
- Agency experience in marketing is an asset
- Ability to remain solutions-focused and positive during times of urgency
- Laser-sharp and an innate attention to details, including timelines, work progress, updating clients and foreshadowing needs
- Practical experience conducting quantitative and qualitative marketing research
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to be immediately adaptable to changing priorities with many concurrent projects

Working from Home
In June 2024, our entire team will be vacating our in-person office and transferring to a permanent work-from-home arrangement. We will be introducing a variety of methods to continue to maintain a very strong team culture and a sense of connectedness and purpose. Throughout the year, we’ll be planning in-person get-togethers that encompass both work and play. We understand that not every candidate will be located near our primary office in Kingston, Ontario, and therefore, we understand that in-person events may not be possible for all staff to attend.
