The Content Coordinator (Copywriter) will join a team of other rockstar content coordinators at Stratos Creative Marketing to manage social media and email marketing content for select clients and support internal marketing efforts, focusing on copywriting.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Copywriting
- Write copy for social media posts and make edits for various platforms (including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others) as directed by Content Coordinator
- Write and implement copy for email marketing as directed by Content Coordinator
- Write copy for websites as directed by Account Manager
- Research topics and clients in order to write relevant content
- Edit/proofread content written by other team members as needed
Project Management
- Monitor ClickUp requests to make sure they are completed by the due date
- Communicate needs from clients or managers through ClickUp; create or delegate tasks to other team members as needed to meet deadlines and produce excellent work
Miscellaneous
- Participate in team meetings
- Collaborate on various “special projects” as directed by managers
- Support content team as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience in social media, content, marketing, or a related field.
- Extensive experience writing short-form copy for social media or other digital marketing materials.
- Proficiency in Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and their analytics/insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to write from different perspectives and brand voices, and to adapt writing style to various industries and audiences.
- Background in marketing or creativity to successfully perform essential job functions.
- Experience with any of the following tools is a plus: Canva, Cloud Campaign, ClickUp, Google Workspace.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team, willing to step up and help with tasks outside of their job description when needed.
COMPANY-WIDE BENEFITS:
This position is available part-time with benefits if you live in one of the following states: Utah, Illinois, Wisconsin, Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, or Tennessee.
- Schedule: 10-20 hours of work per week; a flexible schedule with various required weekly meetings. Additional hours may be available with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position.
- Pay: $15-$25/hr, depending on experience
