IT Project Manager to join Element Fleet Management. As the largest pure-play fleet manager in the world, we provide unmatched products and services and solutions to our clients.

As the
IT Project Manager, you will ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, aligning them with strategic goals of the company. You will define project objectives, manage project resources, and maintain quality control throughout the project life cycle.
A Day in the Life
- Plans and manages the daily activities of the project team, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Create and maintain the necessary project artefacts in accordance with the project delivery framework. Develop detailed project schedule and implementation plan
- Work with Vendor and internal team to create project estimation using the standard costing tool (AFE)
- Manage projects in multiple delivery frameworks such as waterfall and agile, working with multiple vendor partners and resources for a given project or program
- Define project governance and communication cadence. Establish project roles and responsibilities along with stakeholder engagement plan. Onboard project resources, manage resource allocation, IT vendor contracts for project delivery, provide direction and support to the project team. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across different departments.
- Develop, manage, and report on project budget along with Forecast vs Actuals. Monitor and report on progress of project to all impacted stakeholders. Present and review project health status, progress, risk, issues, and decision log
- Adhere to project change control process by managing project changes and suitable mitigation measures. Develops and ensures compliance of project management policies including weekly reporting and alignment with stakeholders on project performance metrics
- Actively participate in the ongoing development of project management fundamentals through contributing to the Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCoE) by sharing best practices, tools, providing mentorship and support. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within project processes and deliverables contributing to the advancement of project management practices within the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field of study
- 3-5 years of relevant project management experience in the IT sector
- Expert knowledge in the discipline of project management including related best practices, development lifecycles and supporting tools
- Experience managing projects leveraging frameworks from Waterfall to Agile
- Experience with resource management and vendor management
- Professional certification such as Project Management Profession (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) would be an asset
