MTP, Inc is searching for a Social Media Project Manager on a full-time hybrid basis.
Role Summary:
We have a world-class social team (think: internal promotional agency). We're looking for a Social Media Project Manager who is a team player. They will focus on bringing together cross functional teams, creating agendas, developing timelines, advertising and branding efforts while educating, inspiring, and informing with consistency across all platforms through focused social campaigns.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Spearhead Organic Social Media Management.
● Help execute tentpole campaigns alongside Program Manager.
● Ensure unique, creative campaigns are delivered in a timely manner; aimed at driving growth across the social channels, impacting sentiment, delivering content based on tentpole moments, data-driven findings, and leveraging the online communities.
● Set competitive growth goals and benchmarks.
● Attending events and producing live social media content when needed.
Agency Partnership:
● Act as the liaison between internal teams and external agencies for day-to-day activities.
● Work with agencies to ensure the scoped work is delivered within scope and on time, escalating issues to the Social Marketing Manager as necessary.
● Build relationships with clients and ensure they are using all our social media services, ensuring satisfaction, and allowing a forum for collaboration and strategy alignment.
Collaboration and Communication:
● Lead weekly meetings with agency partners, internal teams, and relevant event stakeholders. Discuss project status, address roadblocks, and organize on-site social media execution.
● Maintain clear and transparent communication channels across all teams, providing regular updates and proactively flagging risks, delays, or exciting opportunities for engagement.
● Creation and oversight of strategy of all social media projects, calendar timelines, and proactively communicating project status to all stakeholders.
● Facilitate timely feedback and approvals, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, speakers, and sponsors.
● Work across all departments to ensure joint KPIs are met.
Process Optimization:
● Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and optimize resource allocation.
● Develop social media project management best practices.
● Build out our documentation and make certain that all case studies are documented. Each finding, best practice, data dashboard, should be easily accessible and easy to navigate.
● Identifying and sharing insights about content performance, trends, feedback, and engagement through updates.
● Understanding how to leverage social media as a tool to inspire conversion, ignite quality community growth.
● Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
● Ideate new marketing initiatives and craft corresponding execution plans.
What you are good at:
● A deep understanding of the social media and marketing industry.

● Strong project and program management skills as well as excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
● Has experience using social listening, content distribution, and management and reporting tools.
● Owning social media distribution strategies including content distribution across all channels/platforms.
● Excellent analytical, problem solving, and business skills.
● Experience with the ins and outs of Partner Management.
● Innate problem solving and creative content development skills.
● Ability to develop and implement imaginative solutions to help businesses increase brand awareness, showcase products/services along with increasing profits.
● Understanding and ability to track analytics for social media campaigns, creating social media schedules and writing captions for social media posts.
● Technical Writing skills: research, detail oriented, search engine optimization and concise editing.
● Promotional Campaign initiative experience; aimed at the target market, with service/product expansion in mind along with brand initiatives.
● Event Marketing Knowledge such as pop-ups, special guest appearances, networking, and community events.
What you Contribute:
● 3-5 years’ experience working with brand-owned social media channels.
● 3-5 years of professional experience managing and coordinating social media activities on behalf of a cutting-edge business, brand, individual or group
● 3-5 years’ experience with social media events, and user generated content
● Creative Agency Experience a plus
● Experience creating content from various sources to optimize across unique social strategies to drive engagement, audience acquisition and a shared voice.
