This Software Engineer 3 contractor role is part of the Administrative Applications SharePoint team. The primary focus will be on developing enhancements and providing support for the Texas HHS Legislative Tracking System (LTS) 2.0 Power Platform application. Responsibilities include performing duties as a Software Engineer/Application Developer, specifically within the following Power Platform areas: Power Apps Canvas and Model-driven apps, Dataverse, Power Automate Flows for business process automation, and Power BI reports.
Requirements:- 8yrs - Required - Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
- 8yrs - Required - Work experience as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
- 8yrs - Required - Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate technical solutions
- 8yrs - Required - Microsoft Power Platform development experience
- 8yrs - Required - Experience with Agile development processes and sprint planning
- 8yrs - Required - Experience in design and development of Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, or other databases as the backend data storage model
- 8yrs - Required - Experience in design and development of Power BI reports
- 8yrs - Required - Experience developing Power Automate Flows, Desktop Flows, business process Flows
- 8yrs - Required - Good understanding of Dataverse tables and uses
- 8yrs - Required - Good understanding of the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center
- 3yrs - Preferred - Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization
- 3yrs - Preferred - Good teamwork skills, and ability to collaborate with other functional and technical staff on the project
- 3yrs - Preferred - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams
Work hours and location:
- Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
- The primary work location(s) will be at 701 W 51st Street, Austin, Texas 78751
- Position will be remote.
