Advocates for Human Potential (AHP) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Analyst with a foundational background in data analysis, business intelligence, and data governance. This position will support the data management and analysis needs of our grants management activities, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and usability of data. The Program Analyst will work closely with analysts, program managers, and other stakeholders to provide actionable insights that drive program success.
Responsibilities
Data Collection and Management: Assist in the collection, validation, and maintenance of program data.
Basic Data Analysis: Conduct basic data analysis to support program performance monitoring and compliance reporting.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports to communicate program progress and compliance with funding requirements.
Data Quality Assurance: Participate in data quality assurance processes, including data cleaning and validation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work collaboratively with program managers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs.
Training and Support: Provide basic training and support to program staff on data entry and management tools.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management procedures and data sources.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with database management and basic SQL is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and analysis.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data management, or a related role.

Salary Range: $53,000 - $61,000 annually.

The base salary range above represents the low and high end of the AHP salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be high or low in the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. The range listed is just one component of AHP’s total compensation package for employees.
