JOB SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator will work with CUENTO and our partners on the development and execution of strategic marketing plans. This role requires an understanding of marketing principles, advertising tactics and channels, social media, crafting compelling stories through written and creative elements and the ability to learn new industries while coordinating plans to positively impact our clients’ business goals. At CUENTO, we serve as a highly motivated fractional marketing department for our clients. We don’t operate like a traditional agency and instead build lasting partnerships to serve the varying needs of our clients from strategy to execution.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate existing marketing plans and campaigns to meet determined objectives for clients.
- Manage channel and content plan including execution for assigned clients inclusive but not limited to email, social, website, app, onsite, event activation, advertising, media partnerships, 3rd party management.
- Assist in the project management of assigned clients utilizing project management tools to create tasks along with reporting and tracking their completion to meet or exceed determine deadlines and requirements.
- Develop email strategy and content to complement campaigns and initiatives by further communicating key message points.
- Manage website content and necessary updates for CUENTO and select clients.
- Develop presentations for marketing plans and reports.
- Work with internal and external teams to develop compelling content that embodies and personifies brand, drives awareness of key messages and complements all marketing efforts.
- Create content to support advertising campaigns to drive results and key performance metrics. Develop and work with creative and production teams to create content, including copy, graphics and video elements.
- Work with AdTech team and media partners to launch campaigns by delivering assets and strategic approach.
- Act as the brand advocate for clients by staying true to brand essence and guidelines to ensure consistency at every touchpoint.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum three years of marketing, advertising and writing experience.
- Must demonstrate extensive experience in marketing for a major brand with expertise in marketing planning and execution, copywriting, content development, advertising and brand advocacy.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of industries of focus or ability to learn quickly and resourcefully along with current events and trends.
- Must be a strong collaborator with good time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills in all channels and formats a requirement with a demonstrated ability to correctly use punctuation and grammar.
- Exudes a positive attitude with a self-starter mentality
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently both internally, with clients and third party partners.
- Proficient in WordPress a plus with the requirement to learn the platform.
- Google and Facebook Certifications a plus with demonstrated proficiency in Google, Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of various Adobe software (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
