Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from acquired or divested entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of datasets related to acquisitions and divestitures to support strategic decision-making. Utilize advanced data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Project Management: Manage data-related projects associated with acquisitions and divestitures, including timeline development, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including M&A, finance, legal, IT, and operations, to ensure data needs are met and project goals are achieved.
- Compliance: Ensure all data management activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports, data summaries, and visualizations to stakeholders. Provide actionable insights based on data analysis.
- System Management: Oversee data management systems and tools, ensuring they are current and optimized for acquisition and divestiture activities. Provide training and support to team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, with a focus on acquisitions and divestitures within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data management tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, R, Python), database systems, and data integration software. Familiarity with M&A-specific tools is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate strategic insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and analysis.
- Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex data-related projects, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
