Role: - Java Backed Developer(Prior Ex-AMEX is Mandatory)

Location:- AZ or FL

Job Summary: As a Java Backend Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain backend components for web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

8+ years of experience in Java backend development.

Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.

Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.

Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Skills:

Proficiency in Java programming language.

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Java and related technologies.

Implement RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.

Optimize and tune the performance of the backend services and databases.

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and design patterns.

Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing backend systems and implement solutions.

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for backend components and systems.

Implement security best practices to protect data and ensure application integrity.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage deployment pipelines and ensure smooth releases.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve backend development processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience with additional programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Kotlin.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or DynamoDB.

Experience with messaging systems (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Knowledge of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
