Purpose:
The Payroll Processor II will be the primary payroll contact for PeopleWorx clients, responding to inquiries and answering questions from customers. You will handle various aspects of the employee life cycle utilizing our software to facilitate transactions. You will focus on the day-to-day completion of customer payroll processing, client implementation, as well as other tasks related to payroll administration. As you become more experienced you will learn other areas of the employee life cycle that correspond with your interest and skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Exhibit empathy and patience while solving customer problems.
- Provide training and education to customers on compliance-related items.
- Assist clients with payroll-related discrepancies and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and assist employees with the Employee Self-
Service (ESS) portal.
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax
regulations.
- Calculate and deduct taxes, insurance premiums, and other deductions from employees'
wages.
- Generate and distribute paychecks and direct deposits.
- Manage employee data within payroll software systems, ensuring accuracy in data entry.
- Process payroll imports and set up accrual plans.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of payroll reports.
- Collaborate with the HR team to support customers with HR-related questions and
services.
- Assist with basic HR functions and compliance requests.
Client Implementations:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the implementation process.
- Complete and accurately file all necessary client paperwork.
- Ensure accurate and timely client implementations, identifying and rectifying errors.

- Proficiency in using remote software such as Zoom, Microsoft, and Google Suite

Tools and Technology:
- iSolved
- Zoho
- Google Suite
- Excel
Education and Experience:
- Experience with the iSolved platform is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- 2+ years in Payroll with a Payroll Bureau servicing multiple clients simultaneously
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Schedule:
This is a full time salary exempt position. Your core hours will be Monday through Thursday
8:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30 to 2pm Eastern Time.
