About Perfect Venue
Private events and catering can significantly increase restaurant revenue, but many restaurants are stuck using outdated, error-prone manual processes - unlike the sophisticated software employed by large chains.
Perfect Venue is leveling the playing field by offering local restaurants an affordable, user-friendly, event management tool to help local restaurants compete with big chains. This is just the start, with plans to expand into a broader marketplace that includes venues and other event services (DJs, florists, etc).

Requirements
THE OPPORTUNITY
We have customers all over the country paying hundreds of dollars per month and are backed by leading investors, including the 1st investor in Zoom and top Silicon Valley investors. We've made great progress, but we are still a small team, so you'll have lots of autonomy and responsibility from day one. Our product is the #1 rated product in our category on G2 Crowd.
This is a very unique opportunity as the sales team is in its early stages, so you'll have an outsized impact on the team's direction. As a fast-growing startup, new roles often emerge with opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop lists of potential clients
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, email campaigns, and creative strategic outreach though other marketing and social media platforms
- To reach quota, expect to make 100+ calls/day
- Set up qualified meetings for Account Executives
- Track and suggest product feedback to improve the product
- Test email creatives and optimize: Regularly deploy, assess, and refine creative outbound tests and strategies to optimize engagement and meeting results
- Collaborate and work in tandem with the marketing, sales and tech teams, ensuring tool optimization and that sales tactics are in line with technological capabilities
- Use Hubspot and spreadsheets to build strong contact & company lists
- Be flexible! At the end of the day, we're a startup - so things are always changing
NEED TO HAVE
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in SaaS
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- A demonstrated history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and producing high-quality leads
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Experience using prospecting tools (Apollo, Outreach, etc)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organizational skills and careful attention to detail are critical
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of the restaurant, hospitality, or event management industries is a plus
