Brass Monkey Installations Ltd. is a Barrie, Ontario based company that specialized in the supply and installation of Exterior Building Envelop, Siding, ACM and Insulated Metal Panels (IMP).
We are looking for a Project Manager with commercial construction experience in our field.
As project Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Suppliers, Drafting, Purchasing and Unionized Field Staff (either BMI Ltd. Field Staff / Subcontractors). The PM is expected to identify, propose, close, and manage construction projects which generate profits and client satisfaction for BMI Ltd.
- Summary of Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, direct, control, evaluate construction projects, determine from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
- Project coordination, scheduling and overall project management.
- Provide problem resolution/field solutions with respect to unforeseen construction issues.
- Organizes and maintains detailed project files.
- Attends site inspections to assess progress and compliance.
- Accurately review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- General Requirements for PM position:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines;
- Valid – G Drivers License.
- Construction certifications: WHMIS, Safety, Working @ Heights, Fall Arrest, etc.
- Blueprint reading ability is a must.
- Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and Project)
- Exhibits strong leadership and sound decision making qualities.
- Be self-motivated & punctual.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externally.
- Deals effectively and cooperatively with established policies and procedures.
- Professional in appearance and speech.
