About us:
Amazing Seasun Games is an international games developer focused on creating high-quality games across PC, mobile, and console. Our teams are comprised of industry veterans with a shared mission of creating industry-leading video game experiences. Although we have multiple office locations globally, this particular role will be based out of our newly created US Publishing Headquarters located in Irvine, California. This role will focus on supporting our most recent upcoming title, Mecha BREAK (coming to PC, PlayStation and Xbox).
Key job responsibilities:
- Developing the strategy and tactics for monthly content updates
- Building a fandom for our games by creating engaging social media content
- Contributing to planning sessions that drive the creation of our content calendar
- Delivering Qualitative and Quantitative reporting
- Scheduling and staging Social Media posts using internal and native tools
- Monitoring channel responsiveness and updating our messaging to reflect incoming questions
- Building a deep working knowledge of our game and the features, systems, and content it includes
- Working across multiple teams to ensure alignment of all initiatives across all channels
- Supporting with project management for assets or campaigns
- Own the end-to-end organic social strategy for the Communities brand experience, scaling our social presence and driving follower growth and engagement across key social platforms
- Research local marketplaces and Social Media platforms to effectively launch relevant and successful regional campaigns.
- Build, execute, and scale campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X Tiktok & Youtube, and continuously innovate on opportunities for channel expansion
- Find innovative ways to grow followers across platforms and locales.
- Work cross-functionally across functional teams (e.g., Content, Marketing, PR) to execute campaigns and programs, driving excitement for key product/service launches, and Community building experiences.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Requisites:
- BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or PR, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in community management or social media marketing.
- Comfortable presenting on camera and in front of live audiences.
- Understanding of social media and livestreaming best practices, online marketing, and engagement techniques.
- Have a good eye for creative content, and the ability to spot emerging social trends and identify gaming/pop-cultural references.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on generating business results.
- Ability to work with global teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Must be a gamer.
