Position Overview:
Based on 6 months of employee leave timing, we are looking for a skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various channels with a focus on email marketing and SEO. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of digital marketing tactics, excellent analytical skills, and a creative mindset. The Digital Marketing Specialist will play a key role in increasing brand preference, driving website traffic, and generating leads through effective online strategies.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive website traffic, increase brand preference, and generate leads.
- Create emails campaigns from start to finish in collaboration with business owners, copy writers, visual designers, and data teams.
- Lead and manage end-to-end campaign processes including building, designing, testing and execution of campaigns.
- Continuously optimize email content quality to improve opens, clicks, conversion or other relevant KPIs.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO audits to optimize website content and improve search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement SEO recommendations and integrate SEO best practices into website development and content creation processes.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, and ROI, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and external agencies, to align digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:

- Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Journalism or related field.
Experience: Three (3) years of full-time experience in marketing and search engine optimization (in addition to education requirement).
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
- Hands-on experience in marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or CASL).
- Knowledge of leading SEO/SEM in revenue driving eCommerce environments
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in SEO roles, with a proven track record of improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
- Proficiency in SEO tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO keyword research tools.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies and processes to run search media campaigns including Facebook Ad Manager, Google and Bing Ads
- Solid experience with web analytics and tagging platforms (Adobe Suite)
- Familiarity with web design and content management systems (Adobe is a plus)
- Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and comprehensive analyses of program performance
- Solid understanding of web protocols, web application architectures and frameworks
- Experience implementing HTML/CSS and Javascript.
