The Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data and analytical needs, gather necessary data, conduct detailed analyses, and present actionable insights to leadership to aid in decision-making. This role is crucial for supporting operational improvement initiatives within the Operations Reporting & Analytics team.
Responsibilities:
- Derive insights from data analysis, perform root-cause analysis on operational issues, and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Transform raw data into meaningful visualizations and interactive dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of user interaction, engagement, and call center transcriptions to understand member behavior.
- Develop and execute complex SQL queries to answer critical business questions and support decision-making processes.
- Investigate and identify problematic trends that may negatively impact member experience and operational metrics.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Data Analytics.
- Proficient in managing, transforming, and analyzing data using SQL.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of challenging traditional thinking to solve complex problems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Skilled in cleaning, wrangling, and transforming large, complex data sets to generate robust insights.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
