Job Summary:
This internship offers a valuable opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in community management and digital engagement. You will engage with our online community across various social media platforms. Your role will involve extensive research to provide ideas for enhancing community engagement and brand awareness for our startup. You will manage all community interaction across our platforms, including posting daily job opportunities, getting feedback from the community regarding challenges faced, responding to comments and messages promptly, moderating discussions, and fostering a positive and active community environment. Additionally, you will report weekly on community insights and high-engagement activities, and develop content related to the remote work industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and engage with our online community across various social media platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn).
- Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Research ideas to generate community growth and engagement.
- Develop and post content related to the remote work industry.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote community growth and engagement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for community members, providing support and resources as needed either via comments/DMs/Emails/.
- Leverage critical thinking skills to identify areas for improvement and suggest innovative solutions that enhance the community experience.
- Collaborate with the other team members to develop content that resonates with our audience and promotes our company message.
- Organize and manage virtual events, webinars, and other community activities to increase engagement and participation.
- Provide weekly reports on community insights, engagement metrics, and high-performing activities to management
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of social media networks, community management tools, and how best to leverage them
- Ability to maintain a 100% fast response rate on all platforms.
- +2 years of experience as a Community Manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and attention to detail to maintain professionalism
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for building and nurturing online communities.
