The Intermediate Financial Analyst part of the Crumbl FP&A team is responsible for providing financial support to critical areas and time-bound processes such as the annual budget, periodic forecasts and the month-end close cycle including BvA reporting. Assists in the preparation of various financial activities including data gathering, trending, modeling, forecasting, planning and reporting. This person will work within finance but will be exposed to all areas of the business making this an amazing opportunity for an individual that has the ability to analyze data and work cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have experience providing financial support to a supply chain organization. The scope of this role includes warehousing, logistics, direct material, indirect labor, inventory, with a focus on revenue and margin analysis.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepares and reviews accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses, research, and forecasts
- Supply Chain focused role: partnering with Operations, Procurement, Forecasting, and Warehousing to provide analysis for US & Canada Crumbl Foods organization
- Responsible for weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting and updates to management team. Maintenance of KPIs for assigned areas with an emphasis on Budget variance Analysis reporting
- Provides key support to the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting of the assigned business area including variance analysis and sensitivity testing
- Develops and provides ownership of complex short term (1 year) and provides support for long term (3 – 5 year) forecasting models
- Provide oversight support on inventory controls, aging, costing, cycle counts as well as modeling inflation exposure analysis to externally sourced products
- Acts as the organizational authority and established expert on costing, budgeting and finance tasks
Qualifications
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, or other applicable education
- Preferred 3+ years of progressive FP&A or Finance experience
- Proficient in Excel & Exposure to basic SQL language (Snowflake)
- Netsuite or other ERP systems experience a plus; exposure to NSPB/Smartview budgeting
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work and thrive in ambiguity
- Solutions focused – assessing a gap identifying a sustainable solution and implementing a lasting impactful process
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to train and teach others
- Team player; able to build relationships across teams and at all levels within the organization
