Internship Overview
EntreVita Inc. invites highly motivated machine learning enthusiasts to join our summer internship program. This 16-week immersive experience offers the chance to work on a pioneering project at the intersection of AI and personalized nutrition. Interns will engage in practical machine learning applications, contributing to the design, development, and integration of sophisticated AI components, with a strong emphasis on research and innovation in generative AI techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Model Development and Fine-Tuning:
- Data pre-processing
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to design, prototype, and fine-tune machine learning models.
- Develop generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions to enhance our system's capability in analyzing biometric data for personalized meal recommendations.
System Integration:
- Deploy models for inference
- Partner with software and hardware teams to integrate machine learning models seamlessly into the system architecture.
- Implement AI-driven models ensuring robust interaction between the system components and the AI layer.
Testing and Optimization:
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of machine learning models to ensure high performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Iterate on model designs based on performance metrics and feedback to continuously improve system outcomes and integration.
Research and Innovation:
- Conduct research on advanced AI methodologies, including but not limited to generative AI, to explore new ways to enhance system capabilities.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in machine learning and AI, applying novel techniques and approaches to the project.
- Contribute to the publication of research findings and present innovative solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Document model architectures, development methodologies, and integration processes comprehensively.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project progress, highlighting potential improvements and future research directions.
Primary Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with at least one major ML framework such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills, team-oriented, and a keen interest in learning and contributing to innovative AI applications.
Secondary Requirements (Preferred)
- Advanced Degree: Enrollment in or completion of a Master’s or PhD program in Machine Learning, AI, or related fields.
- Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Programming Skills: Knowledge of Node.js.
- Advanced AI Techniques: Familiarity with state-of-the-art AI technologies and methodologies, such as LangChain, LLaMA Index, Vector Databases, CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, Seq2Seq, BERT, Reinforcement Learning, etc.
- DevOps Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, MLFlow, or DVC.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience with ML models for health and nutrition applications, including predictive analytics and dietary recommendation systems.
