Full job description
Under the direction of the Director of Admissions and the Communications Director, provide administrative support to admissions and communications. Coordinate materials for admission-related events, oversee enrollment contracts for newly admitted students, and re-enrollment contracts for returning families. Oversee the New Family Welcome Committee, organize student transcripts for matriculation, and coordinate class placement meetings. Collect and record deposits for admissions. Provide marketing, communication, and logistical support for Lab School events. Assist with managing/monitoring organizational social media accounts. Perform basic graphic design and writing for Lab School communications. Assist with basic campus photography and organization of photo assets. Perform data entry and maintenance within a CRM environment. Assist with the management of internal and external web environments. Assist with in-house video productions, including filming and editing .
Salary & Compensation

Qualifications
- Skill in setting priorities to perform daily tasks with accuracy, attention to detail, and promptness. (Required)
- Ability to convey information to individuals at various organizational levels by phone and in person. (Preferred)
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, subordinates and administrators. (Required)
- Problem solving skills and ability to take initiative and follow through effectively on all tasks with minimal direction. (Required)
- Ability to identify sensitive information and handle with integrity and discretion. (Required)
- Skill in maintaining accurate database files (i.e. enrollment/admissions, student health records, student emergency and family information, class assignments, and business/financial office data). (Required)
- Knowledge of computer systems, applications, and software, including Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Filemaker, Google Suite and Cashnet. (Required)
- Skill and knowledge in becoming a Super User of Systems Blackbaud, a student information software program in order to support and provide guidance to UCLA Lab School employees. (Required)
- Skill in proofreading and editing English language (Required)
- Social media expertise and basic website editing skills (Required)
- Ability to compose articulate and effective verbal and written communications for internal and external audiences (Required)
- Experience with software programs InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere. (Required)
Special Conditions for Employment
- Background Check: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.
- Live Scan Background Check: A Live Scan background check must be completed prior to the start of employment.
- TB Test: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test.
