Akkodis is seeking a PL/SQL Backend Developer for a 8+ contract opportunity with long term extensions for our direct client located in Philadelphia PA. The PL/SQL Backend Developer will be responsible to create backend software and work on existing mission critical applications to improve them.
Rate Range: $70-80/hr
PL/SQL Backend Developer - responsibilities includes:
- Work with senior developers and collaborate to produce software and write clean, scalable code
- Will be required to fix defects in legacy code.
- Must be a team player and excellent communicator and must be able to work with source control on multiple simultaneous branches.
- Participate in requirement analysis. able to interpret business requirement documents, write functional code and unit test.
- Unit test and prepare applications for deployment
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Provide production support and available to provide third tier support to the help desk on assigned weekends and holidays if needed.
PL/SQL Backend Developer - Required Experience includes:
- 7+ years of proven experience as a PL/SQL Backend Developer
- Must have strong T-SQL, Toad, and SQL plus skills
- Must have ETL experience/transactions into the backend with PL/SQL (strong skills on integration of data from various sources)
- Ability to create views, packages, functions, and stored procedures
- Ability to work with collections and with async processes
- Interpret execution plans and optimize queries and functions
- Ability to create complex DML and debug
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Attention to detail is of the utmost importance
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of development experience
