Remote/Hybrid work: a high majority of the graphic designers role will be working from home with some team meetings required at the brewery periodically.

Graphic Designer Role
Reporting into the Senior Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer will be an instrumental member of our marketing team. Supporting the cross functional team at the brewery, this individual will be responsible for bringing the Muskoka brand to life through POS materials and displays, packaging design, advertising campaigns (with focus on OOH and digital), sell sheets, social media content and merch designs. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience with various design platforms as well as being able to balance following direction outlined in a brief with offering their expertise and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- With the briefs delivered from the Senior Director of Marketing and Brand team, the Graphic Designer will lead the creative process from concept development to production for all brands across multiple channels including packaging, advertising, in-store communication, social media content, internal communications and experiential activations.
- Managing artwork to ensure that brand guidelines are adhered to throughout the company’s materials.
- Have a strong attention to detail and unwavering standards for the brand and good grasp on packaging regulations as this role will often be part of the final approval stage before deployment.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding production of materials, ensuring all timelines are met.
- Balance several creative projects across different brands and prioritize and communicate accordingly to deliver on-time.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure creative cohesion between brand, taproom, and experimental environments.
- Manage and maintain a content database of all online and offline marketing materials and content.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of progressive creative experience with ideally in CPG or alcohol industry.
- Post secondary graduate in Graphic Design or related field.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator, Premiere)
- A strong working knowledge of brand development, sales channels, marketing and the creative
- process including art direction of print and digital design.
- Have a strong understanding of print processes and large format printing.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to paint a picture of the proposals for the internal Marketing team.
- Ability to see the big picture concepts and how the design can impact purchase decisions and behaviour, while focusing on the details of quality design.
- Time management and organizational skills to be able to balance conflicting priorities and deadlines.
- Authentic Brand Ambassador. Strong track record of building and maintaining both internal and external relationships in representing our people and brand
- Legally be able to work in Canada, and able to commute to the brewery (Bracebridge) on occasion.
