Job Title : ServiceNow ITOM Specialist
Job Type : C2C/1099
Experience : 8-10 Years
Location : Remote (Austin, Texas)
We are looking for a ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Specialist who will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow ITOM solutions to optimize IT infrastructure and operations. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of ITOM services and solutions that meet the organization's business needs.
Responsibilities
- Experience implementing ServiceNow ITOM, with a focus on Discovery and Service Mapping applications.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server), and data manipulation techniques.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, technologies, and systems, including networking, servers, databases, and cloud environments.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
- Good knowledge of CMDB and its associated process, OOB class structure, and CSDM process.
- Overall knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform including building new applications, Integrations & enhancing existing applications.
- Work on Solution Design for new requirements\ Integrations, and suggest recommendations and best practices.
- Identify any gaps in existing solutions, and suggest and work on improvements.
- Exposure to having worked in large organizations managing multiple Service Management tools.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ITOM processes, workflows, and integrations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Provide expertise and guidance on best practices for ITOM implementation, configuration, and utilization.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures to support knowledge transfer and training for end-users and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about the latest ServiceNow ITOM features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve and optimize ITOM solutions.
- ITIL, CIS Service Mapping, and CIS Discovery certifications are a plus.
