Position Summary: Responsible for supporting Social Media strategies and objectives. Avisi’s flagship product VisiPlate is an investigational device, and not yet available for sale, so the social media objectives will focus around brand and indication awareness and not marketing VisiPlate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the messaging and images for presentations, newsletters, social posts.
- Work with the manager to brainstorm new campaigns.
- Analyze and review social media metrics for various social media campaigns.
- Assist manager in supporting the social media plan, which includes digital, graphic design, and content creation.
- Project management and end-to-end management of internal approval processes.
- Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and data to evaluate campaigns' effectiveness and make optimization recommendations.
- Closely monitor the success of the activities, defining KPIs and setting up corresponding dashboards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholder teams like Strategic Marketing, Operations team.
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as needed, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing files and documents.
- Participate in team research presentations.
- Perform other social media and graphic design activities as assigned by the team.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or master’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Communications, Media science, or similar education.
- Results-driven with strong project management skills and able to multi-task
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Interest in the healthcare industry and MedTech marketing.
- Previous internship or work experience in marketing or healthcare is preferred.
- Team player with strong networking skills and the ability to work across the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Learning Objectives:

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Coursework in Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, Communication or Media science.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, and others.
- Microsoft and/or Google Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive.
- Ability to create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography, and composition.
- Knowledge of image optimization techniques for web and social media.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position may need to move throughout the office to attend meetings.
- Continuously operates a computer and occasionally uses other office machinery.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas in oral and written form so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
