Join our team this summer for an exciting 8-week internship focused on Website Design and Content Development at LINA. This is an 8-week remote internship opportunity for Website Design and Content Development for a growing non-profit. This unique opportunity will allow you to gain hands-on experience in enhancing and expanding our website's functionality and design, as well as developing engaging content for our professional community of nurses.
This is an unpaid internship requiring 20 hours per week for 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension. It can count as part of a course requirement with approval from your professor. Flexible scheduling is available.
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or progress towards a Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Interest in web design and content development
- Passion for discovering new ways of working
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Self starter and independent worker with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with web design tools and content management systems
- Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Primary Tasks:
Website Design and Content Development:
- Build Website Functionality and Design: Help enhance and expand the website's features and layout
- Develop Media and Content: Work with members to create engaging media and content for the website
- Content Curation: Research and find similar types of content to feature on our website
- Event Calendar: Help build and maintain an event calendar, sourcing relevant content to include
