Description Of Project
The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), is seeking one full-time resource to work on Workforce Digital Products MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement effort to build an MS Azure database back-end and API integrations with legacy systems.
At a high level, the Azure Implementation Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of Azure-based projects from inception to completion. They will be responsible for planning, estimating, coordinating, and monitoring project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Additionally, they will facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and mitigate risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligned with the MinnesotaWorks.net Replacement project.

The work is expected to be done remotely.
Resource Need
This request is for one full-time staff augmentation resource. Each vendor is allowed to submit one resource for consideration.

Mode of Interview
The State will conduct interviews. The State reserves the right to remove a resource from consideration if the resource is unavailable for interview as requested by the State. Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Project Schedule
- Anticipated Project Start Date: July 15, 2024
- Anticipated End Date: July 14, 2025
The State retains the option to extend the work order in increments determined by the State.

- 4 years’ experience in performing IT project management functions
- Experience reporting on project activities during all phases of the project lifecycle
- Experience managing all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of IT projects.
- Experience with managing MS Azure solutions
- Experience with integrating with legacy systems
- Experience with managing MS Azure database and API solutions
