Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Bookkeeper fluent in QuickBooks Online. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Connecticut. The ideal candidate will be fluent in QuickBooks Online and have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for performing bookkeeping tasks, utilizing accounting software, handling journal entries, clients invoicing and refunds. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The role will involve working remotely.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper
- Fluency in QuickBooks Online
- Knowledge of finance and journal entries
- Ability to work independently, remotely and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Prepare and review financial reports
- Provide financial information to management as needed
- Manage client invoicing, prepayments, and refunds
- Perform other bookkeeping duties as assigned
