Position Overview
Our client, BetterContext.ai is seeking an experienced Founding Sales Manager and VP of Growth to lead their sales team. This role is critical in driving the company’s growth and expanding their client base. The VP will be responsible for business development managers and sales representatives, ensuring the team meets and exceeds business development goals. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in B2B SaaS and/or AI and a proven track record of driving new business growth.
Your Role
As the Founding Sales Manager and VP of Growth, you will be at the forefront of their growth, driving the sales strategy and execution. Your entrepreneurial spirit and sales expertise will be crucial in helping us land their first 100 customers within six months. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Work from Anywhere: Enjoy the freedom to work from any location that suits you, as long as you can overlap with American working hours.
- Set Your Own Schedule: Take control of your time and create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while ensuring you meet with potential American and Canadian clients.
- Shape the Future: You’re not just a sales rep. You will help shape the future of BetterContext.ai, contributing to their strategy and growth as a true co-founder.
- Leverage Your Background: Ideal candidates will have experience in selling to CMOs. Your understanding of the challenges these CMOs face will help you relate to their customers and sell effectively.
- Close Deals: We have a system that produces 10-15 sales calls per day with qualified buyers. You’ll be on calls to negotiate, offer incentives or discounts, and close deals to bring in the first 100 customers.
- Build a Sales System: Develop a repeatable sales process and, in the long run, recruit and manage additional sales reps as we scale.
- Cold Outreach: Use email, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social platforms to generate interest, book demos, and discuss BetterContext.ai’s value proposition.
Compensation & Growth
This position offers a starting stipend of $3,000 per month, reflecting the current status as a lean startup. However, with an established client base and substantial investment in the platform, the company is poised for significant growth. They offer a generous commission structure, allowing you to quickly earn in excess of $150,000 per year, along with a clear path to equity. This opportunity is ideal for a highly motivated and self-directed individual eager to contribute to rapid expansion and success.
