Overview
SEO Company AI is on the lookout for a skilled Search Engine Optimization Specialist to enhance our online presence. The SEO Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and implementing changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines. This role requires a deep understanding of content strategy, keyword strategy, and SEO techniques to increase the website's visibility in search engine results pages (SERPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed website audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop optimization strategies that increase the company's search engine results rankings.
- Research SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials.
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
- Monitor daily performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google Analytics to understand SEO strategy performance.
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy.
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions to improve website search results.
Technical Requirements
Core Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.).
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Preferred Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Information Technology or related field.
- Proven success in SEO.
- 2+ years’ experience in content creation, content strategy, and content marketing.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.

- SEO tools: Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs
- CMS: WordPress, Joomla, Drupal
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Basic web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Data analytics tools: Adobe Analytics, Tableau
Work Conditions
- Fully remote position with need for a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Candidates must be available during standard business hours aligned to Eastern or Pacific Time zones.
