Job Summary
Serves as the creative influence behind the development of digital information.
Responsibilities
- Routinely handles content creation, copywriting, and email projects including written marketing collateral.
- Content will be created for areas such as: website design outlines, email campaigns, ad copy etc.
- Conceptualizes and creates high-end, visually clean and stimulating print, and digital content.
- Defines project needs and creative objectives within specifications determined by Director of Strategy and Innovation, and visually translates into written concept, design, artwork, and layout solutions.
- Provides consultative guidance on written material and artwork for new and innovative projects and initiatives.
- Creates layouts and mock-ups of written campaign elements and on-site activation elements.
- Sets up and/or updates existing blogs for clients and collaborates with graphic designers for use on web, print or in video.
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing skills including sales copy and grammar
- Significant working knowledge of the English language
- Is current with latest trends in pop culture, health industry and entertainment industry
- Knowledgeable about grammar rules but creative enough to know when to break rules in order to innovate
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, delivering high quality results under the pressure of deadlines, with routinely quick turn-around times
- Excellent project management and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail, and high work standards
- Flexibility; able to shift gears quickly
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven writing, editing, proofreading and copy writing ability
- Can work collaboratively with a team, independently and under close direction
Work Experience
- Portfolio exhibiting written marketing pieces, blogging, brochures, ads, and other sales marketing collateral
- 2+ years experience in professional writing preferred
- Experience using Google Drive and G-Suite
- Experience in blogging professionally or personally
Education
- Pursuing a degree in English, Business Administration, Marketing, or Advertising.
- Bachelors degree preferred
