Role Overview:
As the Strategic Operations and Partner Success Manager, you will report into and work closely with the Vice President of Academic and Workforce Partnerships. You will be instrumental in nurturing strategic relationships with academic suppliers and workforce partners while establishing scalable and repeatable operational processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a background in relationship and project management. Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development and Management Support: You will aid in cultivating and managing strategic partnerships with both our academic suppliers (content partners/ academic institutions) and workforce entities, aiming to improve learner retention and partner satisfaction.
- Implementing and Maintaining Operational Best Practices: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage all partner and student operational issues, ensuring effective solutions for partner needs. You will aid in documenting and implementing operational best practices for our academic and workforce partners. This includes supporting efficient processes, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining quality control.
- Billing Coordination and Troubleshooting Support: You will act as a liaison between internal accounting and our partners to assist in billing processes. This includes helping oversee payment tracking, reconciliation and general troubleshooting. You will also act as a liaison with internal Engineering/Product as adjustments to automated processes may be required.
- Support in Performance Measurement and Operational Analysis: You will aid in the development and refinement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for partnership success. You will be responsible for proactively identifying areas for improvement and making data-informed recommendations for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting Strategic Leadership: You will assist the Vice President in developing and implementing a comprehensive partnership strategy. This will involve supporting the identification of potential partnerships, aiding in agreement negotiations, and helping to nurture long-term relationships. Lead the implementation and onboarding processes for new workforce partners and develop internal procedures to reduce project timelines. Conduct all implementation meetings with project leaders, C-Suite, and key team members.
- Other Duties as Assigned: You will be responsible for other duties as relates to Academic and Workforce Partners as assigned by the Vice President.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and comfortability interacting effectively with senior leadership and external parties.
- Minimum of 8 years prior experience.
- A background in partnership management, higher education and/or workforce development.
- A strategic thinker with excellent supporting skills and a passion for enhancing access to education and workforce opportunities.
